I needed it, so I built it.
reScribe started with a problem I knew all too well.
I’ve always found it difficult to listen closely in a meeting while taking notes at the same time. My brain tends to notice everything happening around me: people moving, sounds in the room, what someone is doing, a change in the environment, even things like smells. By the time I’ve noticed and processed all of that, I can lose the thread of the conversation.
Being autistic is part of how I experience the world, and I realized I needed a better way to stay present without having to choose between listening and remembering.
So I built reScribe for myself.
Put your phone on the table, stay in the conversation, and let reScribe do the remembering. When the meeting is over, you have a clear record of what was said, a summary of what matters, and the things you actually agreed to.
Then I realized I wasn’t the only one who needed it.
reScribe is for anyone who has ever walked out of a meeting wondering, “Wait… did I miss something?”
