Years of creating things — now it's apps.
Picturesque Sales has been Randy's creative home for a long time.
It started in 2008 with a camera and commercial photography. A couple of years later, that curiosity wandered into web design, and by 2016 it had grown into an LLC. There were a few years spent exploring e-commerce, then, in 2019, he found his way back to building websites.
And now the work has taken another turn.
These days, Randy designs and builds apps. The websites he created along the way still quietly run in the background, but the creative energy has moved somewhere new: making small pieces of software that solve real problems.
Most of those ideas start somewhere personal.
Being on the autism spectrum has shaped the way Randy experiences the world, particularly his attention to details, patterns, and the little things that other people might overlook. Rather than seeing that as something to work around, he's learned to build with it. In many ways, it has become part of the creative process.
The best ideas usually begin with something he wishes existed for himself.
reScribe came from a problem he knew all too well: trying to stay fully present in a meeting while simultaneously trying to listen, remember everything, and take useful notes. So he built something that could do the remembering for him.
Fuma started differently. He was trying to come up with a birthday gift for his brother when his son reminded him of something simple: his brother enjoyed a good cigar. That little suggestion was enough to spark an idea. What began as a birthday gift slowly became something much bigger, and Fuma was born.
Neither idea stayed entirely personal for long. Other people saw something in them too.
That has become the thread running through everything Randy builds: start with a real problem, make something genuinely useful, and then obsess over the details until it feels right.
The goal isn't to build a hundred apps. It's to build a few really good ones, give each of them the attention they deserve, and make things that feel thoughtful, premium, honest, and built to last.
